Meet The Team

Midleton Foot Clinic was established by Robert Sullivan in the year 2000 and is, according to our clients, the areas’ Premier Podiatry/Chiropody Clinic. We cater for the needs of the local community and wider population by delivering state of the art care in a professional podiatric medical setting.

We are a team of six, Our Practice Manager is Helen Burke and has many years of experience in dealing with the public in a professional setting. Our Lead Receptionist is Orla Crowley and is always ready to welcome you with a smile and calming reassurance, her experience is a welcome addition to our team.

Robert Sullivan

Is Our Clinical Directed, he is a progressive Podiatric Clinician who holds a BSc. (Hons) Degree in Podiatry from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge (UK) and a MSc. Degree in Podiatric Surgery from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh (UK). Robert also holds qualifications which extended his scope of clinical practice; these include Injection Therapy for pain control, Steroidal Injection therapy, Myofascial Acupuncture and Laser Medicine.  He is frequently requested as a speaker in Laser Medicine, Surgery, and other Podiatry subjects. The Clinic, under his direction, is an active research center for Laser Medicine. Robert is  a Fellow of the Irish Chiropody and Podiatry Association and a Member of the Associations of Surgeons in Primary Care (UK) and registered with the Health Care Professions Council and The Department of Health and Children

Deirdre O’ Flynn

Is Our Clinical Lead Podiatrist and is a graduate of Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh and holds a BSc in Podiatry. She is in the process of studying for an MSc. in Podiatry at Queen Margaret via distance learning and clinical up-skilling. Deirdre has been a regular contributor to the Podiatry Review, a professional publication for Podiatrists. As well as working in the main clinic in Midleton she also extends, on behalf of Midleton Foot Clinic, care to the community in Lismore Co. Waterford and Grenagh Co. Cork. Deirdre also provides services to St Patricks Hospital and many other community settings. Deirdre Registered with the Health Care Professions Council (UK). and the Department of Health and Children.

Tommy O’Shea

Completed his primary qualification through the College of Foot Health Science and Midleton Foot Clinic as a clinical podiatric apprentice. He holds extended practice scope in Laser Medicine (US) and Biomechanics (UK). His is continuing his studies in Myofascial Acupuncture and injection therapy. Tommy is the clinic’s Lead in Biomechanical and Laser. He works alongside Robert on lecture tours as a Clinical Demonstrator and speaker.

Evalyn Corbet

Is our general Chiropodist/Podiatrist and works on our outreach services. She has been qualified for over twenty years. She is a graduate of the Open College of Chiropody. Her special area of interest is diabetes.
